As this is my first attempt at writing a blog I thought I would keep it simple. Having a marquee for your wedding or event can be a bit daunting especially as it is something you have never done before. But please don’t worry if you choose us then you are in very safe hands. From the first phone call or email all the way through to take down I will be there every step of the way. I am behind the emails and phone calls and I also put up each and every marquee with my team. So what happens? Well here is a step by step account of how your set up will go.
- We will arrive and hopefully after being greeted with a cuppa we will make sure that nothing has changed since our site visit and will start to measure and lay out the marquee.
- The marquee does go up fairly quickly on a good day and you should start to see it after just a few hours
- Once the marquee is up the floored is laid and the internal work can begin, depending on the size of your marquee this may take one or a few days.
- We will show you around your marquee once set up is complete showing you how to open and close sections and explaining what you can and cant do we must have you here upon completion
- After your event we ask you to tidy and remove any items that do not belong to us
- At an agreed time we will come and take down and remove marquee from site.
It really is that simple. we can also help you with a host of preferred suppliers some of whom we have worked with for many years so if you need help please just ask.
We often get asked questions so I thought that I would pop a few down here in case they were questions that you had.
What happens if it rains when you set up?
Well that’s simple we get wet. If we think that the weather is going to be very grumpy on set up day then we may call you and ask if we can arrange an earlier set up date if this is not possible then we will just work through it.
Do you need us there the whole day?
No we don’t. We ask for you to be there when we arrive and when we leave and maybe a bit in between for a cuppa or two!!
What happens if my numbers change?
So you have until one month before your booking to make any changes. After this time no changes can be made unless under special circumstances.
