For events outside the height of summer — spring, autumn, winter, or even a cool summer evening — heating makes a real difference to guest comfort. We fit indirect or direct heaters sized to your marquee, positioned to heat evenly rather than leaving cold spots near the edges. Combined with linings and sidewalls, a well-heated marquee can feel just as warm as an indoor room, even in the depths of winter.

Flooring Options

Flooring does two jobs: it protects the ground underneath, and it sets the practical feel of the event. Options range from simple turf protection boards over grass, through to fully carpeted flooring for a softer, more finished look, up to a proper dance floor for weddings and parties. The right choice depends on your site, your guest numbers, and whether dancing is on the agenda.

Lighting transforms a marquee after dark more than almost anything else. Planning for Each Season

Spring and autumn events usually benefit from at least some heating and full sidewalls as standard, given the unpredictable weather either side of summer. Summer events can often get away with lighter sides and less heating, though we'd still always plan for the possibility of a cooler evening. Winter events lean more heavily on heating, full enclosure and warmer lighting to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere despite the season.
